Research

All the research done in the IRC can be broken down into four main themes. These are:

  1. Theory (Modelling Charge Transport in Conducting Polymers and Biological Systems)
  2. Biology (Nanomechanics and Energy Dissipation: From Single Biomolecules to Integrated Cellular Systems)
  3. Nanomaterials (Nanomaterials: Exploiting the Hard-Soft Interface for Scalable Fabrication of Nanostructured Devices and Materials)
  4. Characterisation (Development of Tools for Molecular Scale Characterisation)

There is also an exploratory project relating to the social dimensions of Nanotechnology that can be seen here:
